Working with animals is fun. Many times, it’s more fun than working with people. But at the end of the day, grooming is a business and it’s got to be profitable.
Sue Zecco (who operates a salon) and Jay Scruggs (successful owner of a mobile business) decided to begin producing management-oriented DVDs to help you succeed in managing your business.
The first of these addresses basic business management. It was created to give owners the basic tools they need to become more profitable under any and all market conditions. See The Business of Grooming.
The second is oriented toward gaining more media exposure and attracting clients through competitive grooming -- an area in which both of them have excelled. See Competititon Grooming.
The third focuses on another way to recruit and retain customers for life: handling troublesome pets. If you can work successfully with animals rejected by other groomers as “unmanageable,” you’ve a client who won’t abandon you. See Handling Difficult Pets.
Sue and Jay welcome your suggestions as to future management videos. Would you like to know more about recruiting, training and retaining groomers?
Gaining and keeping customers?
Adding to profit by selling additional products and services through your salon or mobile gooming unit?
Forward your suggestions to sue@caninegroomingsecrets.com or jay@caninegroomingsecrets.com. Your topic will be added to their development list for early production.
